Last updated on February 8, 2026
Congratulations! Your Tidify Pro account is now fully set up, and you can begin creating and managing bookings for your business. Tidify Pro allows you to efficiently schedule bookings and access detailed reports on both executed and pending bookings.
Creating and Managing Bookings on Tidify Pro
Tidify Pro supports booking management in two phases:
-
Customer Self-Booking Phase – Customers create bookings themselves
-
Company-Managed Booking Phase – Your company creates and manages bookings internally
Both phases allow your business to create, update, and manage bookings.
This article focuses on company-managed (internal) bookings.
Below are steps to create or manage bookings for your business on Tidify with your phone or laptop.
How to Create or Manage Bookings
You can create and manage bookings using either a mobile device or a laptop.
Prerequisites
-
An active Tidify Pro account
-
Customer details (existing customer or new customer information)
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1: Log in to Your Tidify Pro Account
Sign in using your registered email address and password.
Step 2: Navigate to Bookings
Click on Bookings from the dashboard menu.
You will be presented with two viewing options:
-
Calendar View – Displays bookings by date and time, allowing you to see your schedule in a calendar format
-
List View – Displays bookings in a list format
You can switch between views at any time based on your preference.
Step 3: Click Add Booking
This opens the booking creation form.
Step 4: Select a Customer
-
If the customer already exists, select them from the list
-
If the customer does not exist, click Create New Client
When the client creation popup appears, enter the customer’s details and save.
The newly created customer will be automatically selected, allowing you to continue without leaving the booking page.
Step 5: Complete Booking Details
Provide the remaining booking information. Please note:
-
If the booking spans multiple days, select the appropriate date range
-
Additional fields will appear for specifying tasks per day and time
These details are important, as customers receive email notifications and reminders based on this information.
Step 6: Select Items or Products for the Booking
Select all applicable items or services related to the booking. This ensures accurate financial records and reporting.
-
You may adjust the unit price to apply discounts, promotions, or incentives
-
Select applicable taxes, if any
Tax selections enable automatic tracking of taxable earnings and generation of tax reports for remittance purposes.
Step 7: Confirm Payment Status
When a booking is created, an invoice is automatically generated and linked to the booking.
-
Only mark payment as received if payment has actually been made
-
If a mistake is made, bookings can be updated and the linked invoice will automatically reflect the changes
Step 8: Select Discount Type (Optional)
You may apply:
-
A percentage (%) discount
-
A fixed amount discount
-
No discount
Once completed, click Create Booking or Save Draft to continue later.
Step 9: Confirm the Booking
Bookings are not automatically confirmed upon creation. This is intentional to accommodate negotiation workflows common in service-based businesses.
Once:
-
Requirements are finalized
-
Payments or deposits (if required) are received
Go to List View, select the booking, and update its status to Confirmed.
Important Notes
-
If payment was marked as received during booking creation, the invoice is generated and recorded immediately
-
If payment was not marked as received, confirming the booking will automatically generate and email the invoice to the client
